As the dust settles and our generation finds itself celebrating the 30 year anniversary of decimating square pellets on the Atari 2600 we come to the realization that we are veterans of a long and drawn out war against deadly turtles, brain leeching jellyfish, green electrically charged were-apes, the power play penalty when using the 5-way and someone has to sit out, the player with the golden gun, REX, the Shin-Ra corp, Liberty City, the Unbrella Corp, some dork that wants to set us up the bomb while spraying a pic of a pair of hoots on the crates, 14 year old Alliance gankers, and a handful of next gen consoles. Sit back and let me tell you some tales of life as a married 30+ gamer with a kid that gets to start her gaming life off with an eight button, 2 stick and d-pad controller.
