Awsome game. The roaming the galaxy for minerals part got kind of old after a while, but the good news on that is the second playthrough they give you 50k of every resource to start. You will still need to scan some, but you won’t have to kill yourself to find 50k plat to upgrade your medical bay.

I’m sure the game is seemless on the xbox, but the computer release still has some issues and some things that make it worse. Whoever had the idea to put Use Sprint and Take Cover on the same button needs to patch that shit now. When I come back from scanning for resources and want to blast into my lab and get that upgrade I want to do it now. I don’t want to hit a sprint button and accidently start up a 1 minute conversation with my secretary to find out that I have no new messages and no updates on the crew (shit I already know because all I did was go out and collect resources). Talking to the chick is annoying, but in battle that whole system makes no sense. Try to run out of a bad situation and you end up taking cover on a wall that faces incoming fire, turns your camera around and gets you filled full of holes. I understand how that makes sense on the xbox. Those tools are used to bad controlls, but I have a keyboard damnit, I have enough keys that those 3 inputs can all be on seperate keys! There is also some wierd black box around a lot of the text in the sub titles. That might be a problem with the hardware on my end though, or maybe an actuall enhancement so we can read stuff that is against a light background.

Thats it! One complaint was all I could come up with, and I’ll gladly put up with it. But I’m still hoping they patch it before my third playthrough .
